For millennia the wounded masculine patriarchy has sought to denigrate us, to push us aside and silence us. We have faced centuries of violence, ridicule and repeated attempts to make us invisible and compliant. Even today women in public roles have lost their job for daring to show their gray hairs!
And we have so much more power than the color of our hair!
Many ancient indigenous cultures say that when a woman has passed through her menopause, then she comes into her full power. She recognizes the strength of her relationship with and as nature; she is "of the land", she seeks to make a difference so that her legacy contributes to making the world a better place now, and for future generations.
