This prayer is an ancient ritual that honors and welcomes the spirit of your child into the physical world. When your child's soul is honored from birth, there is much joy in the knowing that they are here for a very special reason. When we focus on the soul there is a deep connection between us that is unaffected by the mind, conditioning, emotion, or physical challenge .

Instructions: This prayer can be done at anytime after your child is born. Simply take a deep breath, connect with Mother Earth and your Angels in Heaven. Feel (God's) universal love pour over your entire body from your head to your feet like a warm golden shower. Allow your heart to beat with the excitement and love of the miracle just performed. You have just given birth to your amazing child. Love and honor your body for the ability to be a part of this miracle.

Now hold your child, place the tiny feet in your hands and allow a golden shower to fill your child with love and light from the top of their head down through the feet and into Mother Earth. You are ready to begin the prayer. (Notice that some lines are said three times. Saying things three times becomes a ritual where the child and mother bond through the words.)

The Birthing Prayer

You have chosen to come into form. You have chosen to come into form. You have chosen to come into form.

I anchor you into the Mother Earth. I anchor you into the Mother Earth. You have chosen this form.

You are Light. You are Light. You are Light.

You are light and light you shall remain. You are light and light you shall remain. You are light and light you shall remain.

(Now Place one hand on your heart and the other hand on your baby's heart. Speak into your child's ear, saying the following.)

The bond that we have is through love; What I teach you I teach from love; What is not of your truth, I give you permission to release.

I acknowledge your divinity and your spirit. You have arrived on the Planet Earth, and you are part of our family. Know that you are creative and can achieve and accomplish anything you desire. There are no conditions on my love for you. I will love you, always, without question.

(Now hold your child so that your hearts can beat together and your child can feel your love being received and given.)

You can say this prayer to your child as often as you would like. It is advisable to say this to your child every day for two years,

"You are light and light you shall remain. You are light and light you shall remain. You are light and light you shall remain."

This reminds your child that they have come here from the light of the universe and that they are always guided by the light that shines within.
